RoHS Directive Limits Use of Hazardous Substances
Fuses, fuse holders, switches and related products manufactured by Ferraz Shawmut are components, and are not directly in the scope either of RoHS or WEEE directives. However, these components may be used in equipment these directives apply to. In view of that, and in the interest of reducing or eliminating hazardous substances in Ferraz Shawmut products, Ferraz Shawmut is committed to and is actively engaging in removing or minimizing those materials.View and print the current status of all our fuse and fuse holder types to see which ones are affected by the RoHS directive. A number of the products are exempt based on our present knowledge of how our products are used and of the WEEE — RoHS directive.
